Library Board of Trustee Candidates Needed
The City of Fort Lupton is seeking candidates to apply for vacancies on the Library Board of Trustees. The city is looking for an active community member committed to continuing to make Fort Lupton a great place to live. Public libraries are a critical part of every community’s success, providing a safe and inviting place for social interaction, a valuable source for needed information, support for ongoing literacy and the encouragement to continue to pursue lifelong learning. If you live within the Weld Re8 School District and want the make a difference in your community, consider applying for the Library Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees meet once a month on the third Thursday at 7:00 P.M. There may be several special activities, planning sessions, workshops and conferences to attend during each year. Board members will serve as advocates for the library within the community and school district. Terms are for four years.
